Dedicated to the memory of Charlene Allen

Our dearest Charlene left us in May 2024 after a prolonged illness of breast cancer. Since the news of her passing, hundreds of friends and colleagues have asked how they could share with Charlene’s family their memories of her and how they could show their support to her mum, dad and loved ones.

In memory of Charlene Allen, we have created this special place where you can share your memories, thoughts and photos. Charlene did not want flowers and she has identified some charities for those of you who may wish to make a donation instead.

Her company The IC Global Partnership and their IC Community will continue to make possible Charlene’s dreams and vision for the UK internationalisation sector: www.theicglobal.com

Thoughts

It's so hard to write this and say goodbye to such a lovely person. We want to say thank you. Thank you for giving us some of your precious time, giving us the opportunity to get to know you and find out what warm, lovely, kind and creative person you are. Thank you for bringing such love into Scott's life, it's such a blessing to have that. We promise to always be there for Scott, and forever be grateful to have been a small part of your story.

I only heard yesterday of the sad loss of Charlene. She was my boss briefly at Southampton uni. Can't say I knew Charlene well but she was always really friendly and had a beautiful, infectious smile. I'm pleased to hear she found a great job after the uni and a nice new partner. Gone far too young and I'm so sorry for your loss!

Auntie Leanie you will always be in our hearts and thoughts. The time we spent with you was far too short but it was a privilege to get to know you and welcome you into the family. Thank you for all the joy, care and support you brought us. We will look after Scott. His nephews will strive to keep up with him, learn from him, support him and feed him doughnuts and strawberry milkshakes at every opportunity. We know you are with us in spirit and if we close our eyes we can see your smile and hear your voice. Big hugs always beautiful lady.
