To Charlene's family and loved ones, Charlene was a wonderful friend and colleague, every time with a smile and keen to help everyone around her. I always enjoyed working with her and I learned so much from her. We progressed in parallel for the past 17 years since we both were International Officers at the University of Southampton until a few months ago Charlene asked me to join The IC. It was just wonderful to be able to work together again, to speak almost everyday, and I will forever be thankful to Charlene for her generosity. The last time we saw each other in person was in April when I visited the UK and we managed to have dinner together - we had a wonderful time and I am so grateful that I could enjoy this time with her.
