I can't believe that Charlene is gone. She was a wonderful woman and a source of support to very many people, including me, who worked in the international education world. She was warm, generous, funny and intelligent. She played a very important role in her time as the Exec Chair of BUILA, and made a very important contribution to national policy relating to international students in that role. She was welcoming to and supportive of me as I took up the role of Director of UUKi, and became a real friend. I will miss her enormously.
